This tower house was built in 1626 and remained a home for 350 years! As we made the short walk from our car, Craigievar appeared as if conjured from the fog. I was enchanted from the moment I arrived. It’s no wonder Disney used this home as the model for his own early tales. Even the trees were something out of a fairytale.
