Rhian Pearson is haar naam. En de dame verwacht weldra haar derde kindje!

Maar dat houdt haar niet tegen om geregeld te gaan fitnessen. Ondanks het feit dat ze reeds zeven maanden zwanger is.

En ‘t is niet dat ze gewoon wat zit te fietsen of lichtjes huppelt op een loopband, nee. Ze doet aan gewichtheffen, staat op haar handen en schakelt zelfs haar twee andere kinderen in tijdens haar work-outs.

“Ik heb er nog geen negatieve commentaar op gekregen. Iedereen is heel positief en mijn volgers steunen mij. Ze vragen zelfs om raad”, aldus Rhian. Op bovenstaande video zie je wat ze allemaal doet, ondanks haar bolle buik. Straf! Onderaan krijg je ook te zien wat haar 22.000 volgers zoal zien passeren op haar Instagrampagina.

Honesty post 🤗 — Angles 🤰🏼Some of you may have noticed that most of my video/photos are either from the front or rear view rather than the side (bump view). 💁🏼‍♀️As much as I love the little human I’m growing inside me, I still very much struggle with the way my body looks and am very self conscious that from the side I look huge and awkward when I move! 🙈 I know people mean well when they say “wow, you’re looking big” but believe me, being called “big” is not a compliment to a female, like, well, ever!!! 🤷🏼‍♀️ — #29weekspregnant and I have now gained 10kg (for those asking). My boobs are huge (I’d welcome back my mosquito bite boobs right now!), I have cellulite on the backs of my legs (in vid) and arms and the swelling has begun! Around this time with both my other pregnancies I swelled up! My thighs now touch for the third time ever (all 3 pregnancies) in my life and not through a good “muscle gains” kinda way!! 🙈 I am now starting to accumulate the fat stores for feeding on my back and legs too. — I’m not saying this for compliments or to complain as I’m not. I’m saying this as I’ve always said I would be honest before and during pregnancy and my recovery journey will be the same. Some days I feel great and feel like I can pull off my new hump(s) 💁🏼‍♀️other days not so much. But I guess that’s ok. Me + 9kg 🏋🏼‍♀️🤰🏼 — Snippet of my Friday session, it is getting harder and harder to drag this body through workouts with an added 9kg but still enjoying them and loving moving, however, slow it may be! 🙈 — This workout was a “leg burner” as warned in the description and it really was!! 😳 — ✅90 secs max cal bike 90sec rest ✅90 secs: 20 jumping squats + 20 WB @ 9kg, AMRAP jumping squats in remaining time. 90 secs rest ✅90 secs max cals bike 90 secs rest ✅90 secs: 16 Alt DB Snatch 15kg + 16 DB DL, AMRAP DB snatch in remaining time! 5 mins rest and repeat! 😅 — Fuelled by @iconnutrition BCAAs and wearing my Icon Bra so chuffed to join a team of great athletes there! 🤩#teamicon — #ukcf #28weekspregnant #6monthspregnant #crossfitpregnancy #crossfitmom #pregnantcrossfitter #pregnancyworkout #crossfituk #iconnutrition #mypregnancyjourney #crossfitmotivation #builtbyshorunke

7 weeks vs 27 weeks!! 🤰🏼 — What a difference 20 weeks makes! 😊 I’m feeling very lucky that I’m feeling good and have the energy to train (let’s not talk about getting up the stairs though, I swear this is a different energy source!) I get a fair few people messaging me asking me about “risk vs reward” of training whilst pregnant!! I actually had to question this a few times as I didn’t actually understand the question as I thought the answer was obvious but apparently not! 🤷🏼‍♀️ — Of course you need to be careful, adapt movements, not try to lift 1 RM lifts and train at 100 % intensity 7 days a week!! There is a time where you will need to scale most movements but luckily that’s the amazing thing about CF! It’s all scalable! 🤗 — I read some comments on a shared post a couple of months ago which were pretty ridiculous saying because I was not “big” at 12 weeks I was going to have a “flat” baby and all sorts. I think people need to engage brain before commenting sometimes. We women worry enough about our own bodies and babies that we don’t need negativity from the outside world. Believe me, no decent human is going to do anything unnecessary to damage their bodies or that of the human they are growing inside them!! — Keeping fit during pregnancy will mean an easier delivery 📦 and faster recovery 😊 — So to all those fit Mamas and Mamas to be out there, just keep doing what you’re doing, you know what’s best for you. ❤️ And to all those that send me positive messages daily, thank you, you will never know what spreading positive vibes will do to someone’s day 😊❤️🤗 — #27weekspregnant #thirdtrimester #pregnantcrossfitter #thirdpregnancy #crossfitmotivation #ukcf #crossfitpregnancy #mypregnancyjourney #youdoyou

Saturday team day 👯‍♀️❤️🤰🏼 — Saturdays have become my favourite training day! Love partner workouts especially when teamed with this one @hebeburton 😄 — I feel so lucky to be at a gym which is so encouraging and keeps me motivated with my training during my pregnancy.
