Het NCIS-team vindt een voormalige onderzoeksassistent die is doodgestoken. Het team komt erachter dat zij tips verkocht over het beroven van een warenhuis.
Het team is geschokt door de moord op een van hun voormalige onderzoeksassistenten, die zijn baan verloor door bezuinigingen. Als ze in de zaak duiken, blijkt dat het slachtoffer informatie verhandelde over hoe een opslagplaats vol dure spullen kon worden beroofd.
